Auckland Flood Information | 9th May 2023

By Sandra Grammer
Good afternoon,
MetService have issued a severe weather warning for the Auckland region from now until midnight tonight. Your safety is our top priority. Under the State of Emergency, the Civil Defence recommends staying home (if safe to) and only travelling if essential.
We understand you and your home may be affected. Once the weather subsides, we will be on-site to address the situation. In the meantime, we request that you document the situation (take photos and videos) of any flooding or water leaks and email these to your Property Manager outlining any damage.
If you require sandbags, it would be best to organise these now. If you have drains on your property, please ensure they are clear of debris.
In the event of roof leaks, please try to contain the water as best as possible. If you experience water coming through light fittings, please do not use the lights in these areas until they have been inspected by a suitably qualified professional.
Please call your Property Manager with any concerns or if we can help with your immediate situation in any way.
Stay safe,
The Ray White Taylor Rentals team
